Long Branch Jam History
In the 80′s and 90′s, Mark Gummer, owner of National Audio with his two partners, David Allen and Liz Nowak (ELS) put on a number of sold-out concerts at Long Branch Park. This natural amphitheater saw the likes of legendary artists such as: Santana, Joe Cocker, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Pat Metheny, The Band, David Bromberg, REO Speedwagon, Little Feat, Roy Buchanan, Spyro Gyra and BB King! This beautiful venue has not been utilized for concerts over the past few years, so we are trying to revive it, as it was always a favorite location. Surrounded by It’s towering chestnut and oak trees, with trails and forests to venture into, this park has a natural, earthy vibe and makes for a splendid festival location. In June 2013, Long Branch Jam was revived! With a list of artists including: Rusted Root, John Brown’s Body, EMEFE & a number of local bands.
